Self-Upload lets you upload your own learning material – like sheet music, exercises, or documents from your teacher – as a PDF file and use it in the OKTAV Player. That way, you can play, practice, or annotate your personal material easily.
All uploaded files open in the standard Player. There you have the following features available:
Autoscroll
Metronome
Annotations
Various display options for the best experience on all screen sizes
You can also upload other music learning materials besides sheet music – just make sure to respect copyright laws and usage terms.
You’ll find all your uploaded files super organized in your upload list. This way, you always have access to your personal collection.
Self-upload is included in all OKTAV plans. Please note these restrictions:
File format: PDF
Maximum file size: 20 MB
Maximum number of pages: 30 pages per file
Open the "Uploads" section in your OKTAV account.
Click on "Add uploads".
Choose a PDF file (max. 20 MB / 30 pages).
Add a title, artist name and adjust the file name if you want – this info will help you find your files later.
Yep, you can always:
Delete files
Edit metadata (title, artist name, file name)
Download files again
All changes are instantly visible in your uploads list.
The self-upload feature is only for personal use and designed for music learning material. You're responsible for the content you upload – especially regarding copyrights.
OKTAV reserves the right to check uploaded files and remove them if they violate the rules. If there's serious abuse, your account may get deactivated with no refund.
Right now you can only upload already existing PDF files. Direct scans or photos from mobile devices are not supported yet.
You’ll find your uploaded files in the menu under “Uploads”.
