What is a virtual keyboard?
The virtual keyboard shows you a piano keyboard right inside the interactive player.
While you play a piece, the keys being played light up on the keyboard—synchronized with the playhead’s position.
Are these features available for all pieces?
Not quite – but for a whole lot! Both features are available with around 2,000 of our interactive scores . And among those, you’ll find pieces for every skill level and from every genre.
How does this feature help me?
The virtual keyboard is especially helpful for beginners:
Finding notes on the piano: Even if you can't read music (yet), you can instantly see which keys are being played. If you want, you can even show the note names.
Visual reference: For tricky passages, you can just casually watch the order of the keys – for one or both hands.
