With the Playback feature, you can play the piece at the original tempo or your chosen speed (right down to the BPM you like). A moving playhead moves over the notes and the music sheet scrolls automatically — so you always have the current spot in view, highlighted.
It's super easy: Click or tap the Play button. If you want to pause playback, hit the Pause button.
To help you out, there are some handy tools — for example:
Bar counter
MIDI sound
Virtual keyboard
and more.
By default, the original speed of the piece and the MIDI sound are both enabled.
Playback is available only with our interactive scores – thanks to special preparation and MIDI tech.
But no worries: even with standard sheet music you don't have to turn pages. Here you can use Autoscroll – and set the speed anywhere between 0.1x and 5.0x. That way you can match the tempo to your level.
You have two easy options:
Drag the slider to where you want in the piece. The progress bar also shows you where you are right now.
On desktop/tablet you can find it at the top,
on your phone it's at the bottom.
Just tap straight into the staff wherever you want—the playhead will jump there, and the progress bar updates automatically.
