Metronome

Use the built-in metronome to practice at the right tempo – with adjustable speed, sound style, and optional accents. Here, we show you where to find it and how to make the most of it.

How to use the metronome

You can use the metronome in 4 steps:

  1. Activate: turn on the metronome in the top menu or bottom menu.

  2. Tempo: Set the BPM speed you want.

  3. Style: Choose if you prefer an audio or visual display – or both. You can pick one of the sound options (Click, Cowbell or Wood).

  4. Accents: Optionally, you can enable accents so that every 4th beat or every 4th and 2nd beat is highlighted.

Where do I find the metronome?

You’ll find the metronome in the top menu bar or at the bottom menu bar if you're on a phone.

Browser

  • Desktop: top menu bar

  • Smartphone:

    • Portrait: bottom menu bar

    • Landscape: top menu bar

  • Tablet: top menu bar

App

  • Smartphone: bottom menu bar

  • Tablet: bottom menu bar
